This month I have had little time to get out walking, with one thing and another getting in the way.

My first walk in December was a brief walk in the high Apennines from Passo Cerreto to Passo  Ospedaletto. Nothing particularly interesting except for a nice sunset.

I managed to do a footpath that I have wanted to do for some time along a stretch of the Tassobio torrente from Ariolo RE to Mulino Leguignio RE on the 660 footpath.

Here the partly frozen torrent made for some interesting photographs.

My last walk of the year was quite near to home above Albinea RE . I left the car at Querciola and followed the farm tracks to Ca’ del Lupo ( The wolves house). I had a fantastic view of the Pianura Padana from here.
